Abstract:
To provide a polylactate processed yarn which gives a fabric having soft hand, excellent deep dyeability, high texture and biodegradability, when woven or knitted and then dyed, to provide a method for producing the same, and to provide a knitted or woven fabric.
This polylactate processed yarn comprising polylactate multifilaments and having a hot water shrinkage percent of ≤7%, a crimp percent of ≤20%, and an elongation of ≤50%. The processed yarn preferably has a torque of ≥40 twists/m, preferably ≤100 twists/m, and is preferably obtained by a turning treatment using a fluid and a heating treatment.
