PURPOSE: To provide a fluorine-containing thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising a continuous phase and a disperse phase, both of which are specified respectively, superior in heat resistance, chemical resistance, solvent resistance, processability and fatigue resistance, and useful for applications such as seal and gasket.
CONSTITUTION: This objective fluorine containing thermoplastic elastomer composition comprises (A) a continuous phase consisting of (i) 0 to 90 wt.% of a thermoplastic polymer such as polyamide having a melting point or a glass transition temperature of higher than 150°C and (ii) 10 to 100 wt.% of a thermoplastic elastomer such as a copolyester type polymer having a melting point of higher than 145°C and (B) a disperse phase consisting of particles or domains of a cured fluorized elastomer composition.
