Abstract:

To provide a gas adsorbing material capable of adsorbing a gas even in an environment of a low gas adsorption pressure.

A polymer metal complex has a fundamental structure of a two-dimensional planar lattice laminate type having a unit structure represented by formula [X(Y,Y')₂L₂]_n, wherein: X is a divalent ion of one of cobalt, nickel and copper; Y is a CF₃BF₃^- ion; Y' is a CF₃SO₃^- ion; and an organic ligand of L is 4,4-bipyridine. The gas adsorbing material and a gas separation apparatus use the polymer metal complex.
