Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alternating current (AC) power cable having improved properties.SOLUTION: The alternating current (AC) power cable includes a conductor sequentially surrounded by at least an inside semiconductive layer including a first semiconductive composition, an insulation layer including a polymer composition, an outside semiconductive layer including a second semiconductive composition, and a jacket layer arbitrarily including a jacket composition. The polymer composition of the insulation layer includes a polyolefin and a crosslinking agent and has 12.0×10or less of a dielectric loss expressed as tanδ (50 Hz) when measured at 25kV/mm and 130°C according to "a test for tanδ measurement on a 10-kV cable" described in "a measurement method" of the specification.SELECTED DRAWING: None
