Abstract:

To provide a polymer compound from which a bipolar organic transistor can simply be manufactured and exhibits the bipolar of p type and n type.

The polymer compound contains a structural unit represented by formula (1) [wherein Z¹ is -O-, -S-, -N(R¹)-, -N(COR²)-, or -N(CO₂R³)-: Z² is -S-, -N(R¹)-, -N(COR²)-, or -N(CO₂R³)-; R¹, R² and R³ are each independently hydrogen, alkyl, aryl or heteroaryl; and R^A and R^B are each independently hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, aryl, heteroaryl, halogen or cyano].
