PURPOSE: To provide a colored, extinctive and fluorescent polymer composed by polymerization of a specific non-dye monomer and a dye monomer as a comonomer.

CONSTITUTION: The subject polymer is either selected from the following first group and the second. The first group; (A) a comonomer containing a non- chromophore elementary part which is partly fluorinated or non-fluorinated, and (B) a polymer comprising an interpolymerized repeating unit derived from a monomer, which is partly fluorinated or non-fluorinated and contains a chromophore elementary part, or a comonomer at least either of which has an aliphatic group substituted by fluorine. The second group; a polymer which is composed of a polymer main chain grafted by at least one kind of pendant group derived from a pendant group precursor compound which contains a chromophore elementary part and a partly fluorinated or non-fluorinated polymer main chain comprising an interpolymerised repeating unit derived from a polymer which is partly fluorinated or non-fluorinated and contains a non- chromophore elementary part, and of which at least either of the cited monomer and a pendant group has an aliphatic group substituted by fluorine.
