Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer dispersion liquid and a coating material capable of forming a coated film excellent in adhesiveness to various substrates, especially polyolefin substrate, water resistance, and soft feel property.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a polymer dispersion liquid including a process (1) of polymerizing an urethane resin (A) and a monomer mixture X containing one or more kinds of radical polymerizable monomers to obtain a dispersion liquid containing a polymer P and a process (2) of polymerizing by adding a monomer mixture Y containing one or more kinds of radical polymerizable monomers to a dispersion liquid containing the polymer P to obtain a dispersion liquid containing a polymer Z, where at least one of the monomer mixture X and the monomer mixture Y contains a radical polymerizable monomer having a solubility parameter of 19.7 (J/cm)or less at specific amount and a solubility parameter of at least one of the monomer mixture X and the monomer mixture Y is 19.9 (J/cm)or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
