Abstract:
To provide a polymer electrolyte membrane which is excellent in dimensional stability, mechanical strength and heat resistance, compared with a conventional one.
This polymer electrolyte membrane contains a polyolefin composition containing 1 mass% or more of polypropylene; a polyolefin fine porous membrane which has porosity of 10 to 90%, membrane thickness of 0.1 to 50 μm, and void pore size of 0.03 to 5 μm; and polymer electrolyte which fills the void pore of the polyolefin fine porous membrane and which has the ion exchange capacity of 0.5 to 3.0 milliequivalent/g.
