Abstract:

To provide a novel polymer having excellent heat resistance and low hygroscopicity and containing alicyclic monomer units, which can be efficiently radical-polymerized without using any metal catalyst.

The polymer contains at least one kind of structure unit derived from an alicyclic monomer (A) represented by a general formula (1). In the general formula (1), m and n are independently 0 or 1, and R1 is a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic group.
