Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer dispersion liquid which is excellent in polymerization stability and allows an aqueous coating material obtained therefrom to be excellent in coating viscosity properties and storage stability, to provide a polymer particle contained in the polymer dispersion liquid, and the aqueous coating material from which a coating film excellent in water resistance and solvent resistance can be formed even when a drying condition thereof is low temperature and a short time, and to provide an aqueous coating material-applied coated product.SOLUTION: The polymer particle is obtained by incorporating a urethane resin having a sulfonate group and an acrylic polymer in one and the same particle and has 0.1-19 mg-KOH/g surface acid value when measured by a potentiometric titration method. The aqueous coating material is prepared by using the polymer dispersion liquid containing the polymer particle. The coating film is formed from the aqueous coating material to obtain the coated product.
