Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer production method which, when preparing a polymer from a polymerizable monomer by bulk polymerization in a mold, allows preparation of a polymer block having little irregularity on the upper part and side part.SOLUTION: Provided is a polymer production method comprising a step where a polymerizable solution containing a polymerizable monomer is heated in a mold and, thereby, is bulk polymerized to obtain a polymer. In the step, the bulk polymerization is performed with inside of the mold pressurized by circulating an inactive gas in a space which is in contact with an upper portion of the polymerizable solution.
