To provide a polymer substrate having a laminated structure and an excellent HCV adsorption capability for removing HCV in the blood and a medical appliance using it.
The laminated polymer substrate consists of: a polymer support (A); a layer (B) obtained by treating the surface of the polymer support (A) through a graft polymerization reaction with a polymerizable compound; and a laminate structure (C) capable of combining with the layer (B). The laminate structure (C) is formed by laminating, n times (wherein n is an integer of 1-10), a paired unit of: a first layer obtained by binding, with the layer (B), a compound (D) which is ionic or has a functional group capable of ionization and can combine with the layer (B); and a second layer obtained by binding, with the first layer, a sulfated polysaccharide (E) capable of combining with the first layer.
