Abstract:
Polymeric water-soluble colorants, characterized by containing not more than 1% of nonwater impurities having molecular weights below about 1000 are disclosod as is their achievement by a purification process comprising ultrafiltration of a crude aqueous solution of said colorants followed by spray-drying of the retentate resulting from said ultrafiltration.
