Abstract:

To provide a polymeric compound for bioassays which is capable of controlling nonspecific adsorption or bonding of proteins without coating an adsorption inhibitor and a substrate for bioassays using the same.

The polymeric compound for bioassays is a polymeric compound at least having a unit capable of controlling nonspecific adsorption of proteins and a unit with a hydrophobic group, and a block copolymer. Preferably, the main chain of the polymeric compound has a (meth)acryl skeleton.
