To provide a polymeric porous hollow fiber membrane that, while exhibiting excellent fractionation performance and permeability in various aqueous fluid treatment membranes, such as, a potable water membrane, a beverage treatment membrane, blood treatment membrane, in particular, in treatment of beverage containing polyphenol, has satisfactory strength causing no breakage or leak in module building and actual use, suppresses lowering of the performance and characteristics due to aging, excelling in the recovery of membrane characteristics by washing, and in which its effect on flavor regulation can be expected especially in the treatment of beverage containing polyphenol.
The polymeric porous hollow fiber membrane comprises hydrophobic polymer and hydrophilic polymer, and a polyphenol adsorbing amount per 1 m2 of a surface defined on the inner and outer surfaces is 50-500 mg.
