Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable composition used as a lens material, which has thermal yellowing resistance, crack resistance, and dimensional stability.SOLUTION: The polymerizable composition contains: (a) 100 pts.mass of a reactive silicone compound obtained by polycondensing a diaryl silicate compound represented by formula [1] and an alkoxysilicon compound represented by formula [2] in the presence of an acid or a base; (b) 5 to 100 pts.mass of a bisphenol A di(meth)acrylate compound represented by a specific formula; and (c) 0.01 to 5 pts.mass of a light stabilizer having a group represented by a specific formula and/or an antioxidant having a group represented by a specific formula.
