Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the title composition which can give an optical resin of reduced yellowness without detriment to its other properties. CONSTITUTION:The title composition comprises a diallyl phthalate, an allyl ester of the general formula: R<1>CO2CH2CH=CH2 (wherein R<1> is a 1-17C linear or branched alkyl, 3-17C cycloalkyl, phenoxymethyl, beta-phenylvinyl or acetylmethyl) and a monomer radical-copolymerizable therewith, and the title resin and object are prepared by radical-polymerizing this composition.
