To improve a shelf life and adhesive performance of an adhesive composition which indispensably includes a (meth)acrylate based monomer having an acid group in the molecule and water, and to improve adhesive ability of an adhesive composition which does not contain water in odontotherapy.
The polymerizable compound having an acid group is a compound or its salt which has one or more phosphate groups and carboxylic acid groups respectively in the molecule as an acid group, and which further has one or more polymerizable groups. For example, the polymerizable compound having an acid group is a compound or its salt expressed by general formula [1] (wherein R denotes a polymerizable group and; W denotes an organic group which has as a substituent, one or more phosphate groups and carboxylic acid groups respectively; each Xq denotes an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; each Yq denotes an organic group; each Zq denotes an organic group which may have as a substituent, at least one of a phosphate group, a carboxylic acid and a polymerizable group; p denotes an integer of 1-10; and q is an integer of 1-p).
