Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain new compounds useful for raw materials of polymers having an excellent stability against to oxygen and UV irradiation. SOLUTION: The compounds are diketopyrrolopyrroles of formula I R1 is formula -Y-X-Z-Q [Y is -CR3 R4 -(R3 , R4 are each H, etc.); X is (substituted) carbon cyclic allylene, etc.; Z is an 1 to 30C alkylene, etc.; Q is -OH, etc.]; R2 is an 1 to 6C alkyl; A, B are each formula II (R8 , R9 are each H, etc.)}. For example, the compound of formula III. The compounds of formula I are obtained in a production method such as reacting the compounds of formula IV (R14 is H, R2 ) obtained by reacting pyrrolinone and a nitrile, in an aprotic polar solvent (preferably dimetyl-formamide), in the presence of a base (preferably potassium carbonate) with a halogen compound of formula Hal-Y-X-Z-Q (Hal is a halogen) preferably at 70 to 140 deg.C. The preferred molar ratio of the compounds of the formula and the R14 is H.
