Abstract:

To provide a polymer composition causing practically no coloring miss.

A polymerizable composition is provided, which composition comprises a major amount of a polyol(allyl carbonate) monomer [such as diethylene glycol bis(allyl carbonate) monomer], and a minor amount of a radically polymerizable second monomer represented by general formula of the figure, wherein R2of the second monomer is a polyvalent linking group free of urethane linkage (for example, R2may be a residue of a polyisocyanate, such as isophorone diisocyanate); and R3has a single hydroxy group and at least one allyl group.
