Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compositions useful for applications, such as sealants, gaskets, tubing and waterproofing, by using a novel fluoropolymer having a surface tension of about 15 to about 30 mN/m.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to: polymeric materials, comprising about 1 to about 99 wt.%, preferably about 10 to about 90 wt.%, more preferably about 30 to about 70 wt.%, particularly preferably about 50 wt.% or larger, of a fluoropolymer comprising 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (CFCF=CH, 1234yf) monomers and having a surface tension of 30 mN/m or lower; and polymeric compositions, coating compositions, and methods for using them.SELECTED DRAWING: None
