Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3416535
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stabilized composition having stability to oxidation degradation, capable of providing a polyurethane foam with excellent scorch suppressing characteristics, by making the composition include a specific polyether polyol, etc., and a specific benzotriazole in an amount sufficient for stabilization.
SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) a polyether polyol or a polyester polyol containing 2-10 hydroxyl groups (preferably a polyester polyol obtained from a polydiethylene glycol or the like) and (B) a benzotriazole of the formula (R is H or a lower alkyl; R1 is an alkyl or a phenylalkyl; R2 is R1; R3 is H or a 1-11C alkyl) [preferably 1-(di(4-octylphenyl)aminomethyl)triazole or the like] or its mixture in an amount sufficient for stabilization in the ratio of 0.01-5.0 wt.% of the component B based on the component A.
