PURPOSE: To improve the slidability and antiblocking property of a photosensitive element by providing a photorelease layer consisting of an oxyethylene homopolymer photorelease agent between a cover sheet and a photosetting layer.
CONSTITUTION: A releasable cover sheet with the surface coated with a layer of the homopolymer or copolymer of a cross-linked polyolefin, with the coated surface opposite to a photosetting layer and transparent to an active radiation is provided. Further, a photorelease layer consisting of a solid oxyethylene homopolymer photorelease agent shown by H(OCH2CH2)nOH and having optionally ≥3000mol.wt., a photosetting layer contg. optionally a colorant, a non- photosensitive elastomer layer and a support sheet are laminated in this order to constitute a multilayer peel-apart photosetting element. Meanwhile, the cross- linked polyolefin consists of an unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon and preferably has ≥2000mol.wt. and 10-50 acid value.
