To provide a polyolefin porous hollow fiber membrane that has excellent resistance to oxidative degradation and has mechanical characteristics of which the deterioration over time is suppressed and that contains an antioxidant with little elution into water and to provide a method for producing the polyolefin porous hollow fiber membrane.
The polyolefin porous hollow fiber membrane containing polyolefin and tris[3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl) propanoate] as a phenolic antioxidant is provided. Alternatively the polyolefin porous hollow fiber membrane containing 0.03 mass part or more of the phenolic antioxidant with respect to 100 mass part of the polyolefin is provided. The method for producing the polyolefin porous hollow fiber membrane by melt forming and drawing method using the polyolefin and the phenolic antioxidant is also provided.
