Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the rise in thermal welding temp. to the roofing material after long-term preservation and to impart good water resistance to an adhesive layer at the time of the lamination to a metal rooting material in a polyolefinic foam sheet for the lamination to the roofing material.
CONSTITUTION: A polychloroprene adhesive composition wherein carboxylated polychloroprene, a resole type phenol resin, a terpene phenol resin, zinc oxide and/or magnesium oxide and other additives are contained in an aqueous medium is applied to at least one surface and heated in a heating furnace at 50-60°C to treat the surface.
