PURPOSE: To highly provide all of appearance grade, dimensional accuracy, buffering capacity, heat insulating capacity and mechanical characteristics by using a polyolefinic resin foam molded body constituted of a molded body region having a specific wall thickness and water permeability.
CONSTITUTION: The principal part of an in-mold molded body composed of polefinic resin foamed particles and having foaming magnification (cc/g) of 4 - 25 is constituted of a molded body region wherein a wall thickness of 5mm or less is formed by arranging four foamed particles in the wall thickness direction in a formed state and a surface part whose smaller one side dimension is 15 times or more the wall thickness dimension is formed by said wall thickness and the 'water permeability', which is calculated by immersing the molded body region in water containing a surfactant, of the molded body region is a value of 2 vol.% or less. When this polyolefinic resin in-mold thin-wall molded body is employed, though said molded body is constituted of a thin-wall region, all of appearance grade, buffering capacity, heat insulating capacity and mechanical characteristics can be highly provided.
