Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the subject composition excellent in flame retardance, impact resistance and electric insulating property, and useful for moldings, etc., which comprises a polyolefinic resin and an alkylphenolic resin not having thermal reactivity in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprises (A) 95-50wt.% of a polyolefinic resin such as PE and (B) 5-50wt.% of an alkyl phenolic resin not having thermal reactivity and obtained by reacting a phenol compound such as p-tert.-butylphenol with formalin.
