To provide a polyphenylene ether resin composition having excellent flame retardancy and good balance of molding flowability and heat resistance.
The polyphenylene ether resin composition contains 10-90 mass% of a polyphenylene ether copolymer (A) obtained by polymerizing 15-28 mass% of 2,3,6-trimethylphenol and 85-72 mass% of 2,6-dimethylphenol, and 90-10 mass% of a styrene-based resin (B). The polyphenylene ether resin composition contains 5-120 pts.mass of an inorganic filler (C) surface treated with a silane compound based on 100 pts.mass of the total amount of the components (A) and (B), and contains 3-45 pts.mass of a phosphazene-based flame retardant (D) based on the 100 pts.mass of the total amount of the components (A), (B) and (C) and the phosphazene-based flame retardant (D).
