Abstract:
To provide a PPS fiber-containing wet non-woven fabric which hardly causes paper breakage when be produced by a wet papermaking method, is excellent in thermal dimensional stability at a temperature exceeding 200°C, and improves hydrophilicity.SOLUTION: A polyphenylene sulfide fiber-containing wet non-woven fabric is composed of a polyphenylene sulfide fiber and a fibrillated aramid fiber, contains a polyphenylene sulfide fiber having a modified cross-section as the polyphenylene sulfide fiber, has a content of the fibrillated aramid fiber of 3 mass% or more and 75 mass% or less and a content of the polyphenylene sulfide fiber having the modified cross-section of more than 5 mass% with respect to the total fiber amount, and has a one-layer structure.SELECTED DRAWING: None
