Title:
POLYPROPYLENE-BASED RESIN FOAM PARTICLE AND ITS MOLDING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3281904
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the subject propylene-based resin foam particles improved in its stiffness without reducing its lightweight properties suitable, e.g. for a core material of an automobile bumper and to provide the subject molding thereof.
CONSTITUTION: The objective polypropylene-based resin foam particles are characteristically produced by foaming propylene-based resin particles containing a polypropylene-based base resin having 250 to 350kg/cm2 tensile strength at yield point and a crystal structure giving a differential thermal analysis DSC curve in which a high-temperature peak other than its characteristic peak appears at 15 to 35J/g and a small amount of an organoaluminum-based nucleating agent. The objective molding is obtained from the resultant resin foam particles.
