Title:
POLYPROPYLENE RESIN COMPOSITION FOR NONSTRETCHED MATTE FILM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3386878
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a nonstretched. matte polypropylene film which has excellent stiffness and heat resistance, a good impact strength, and no problem of appearance such as fisheye by compounding a specific polypropylene resin with a specific polyethylene resin.
CONSTITUTION: This compsn. comprises 97-60 pts.wt. polypropylene resin (A) comprising a propylene homopolymer and an ethylene-propylene copolymer rubber (EPR) and 3-40 pts.wt. polyethylene resin (B). Resin A has a melt flow rate of 0.5-15, a wt.-average mol.wt. of the EPR of 400,000-1,000,000, a content of the EPR (obtd. by cross fractionation method) of 5-80%, and a content of ethylene (obtd. by infrared spectrophotometry) [E]IR satisfying, together with [EPR], the relationship of the formula. Resin B has a melt flow rate of 0.05-10 and a density of 0.940g/cm3 or higher.
