Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition having improved coating properties and printability without damaging physical properties essential to PP resin, by blending PP resin with a copolymer prepared by copolymerizing a specific monomer mixture in a specific proportion. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition containing (A) 100 pts.wt. PP resin and (B) 1-50 pts.wt., preferably 3-40 pts.wt. copolymer obtained by copolymerizing a monomer mixture consisting of (i) 5-60wt.% long-chain alkyl (12-22C) (meth)acrylate, (ii) 5-50wt.% alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid, unsaturated dicarboxylic acid or acid anhydride thereof [e.g., (meth)acrylic acid] and (iii) 0-80wt.% vinyl monomer (e.g., styrene) copolymerizable therewith and having 1000-500000 weight-average molecular weight.
