Title:
POLYSACCHARIDE FINE PARTICLE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006298805
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide polysaccharide fine particles that can inexpensively and simply be produced, and can arbitrarily control the particle size less than the submicrometer degree and provide the method for producing the same.

A polysaccharide solution prepared by dissolving polysaccharide in an acidic solvent is allowed to drop down to water or the like as a dispersion medium in an amount of more than 100 pts.vol. per 100 pts.vol. of the polysaccharide solution. Then, at least an excessive amount of hydrogen ion is removed from the mixed solution of the polysaccharide solution and the dispersion medium thereby associating and precipitating the polysaccaride and the particle size can be controlled to an arbitrary value not more than 2 μm.
