To obtain the subject mixture excellent in electrophotographic characteristics and mechanical strength of film and film characteristics and suitable as a material for carrier transportation layers of electrophotographic photoreceptors.
This polysilane mixture comprises (A) a polysilane compound represented by the formula [R1 to R4 are each H, a (substituted)alkyl, a (substituted)aryl or a (substituted)alkoxy; (x), (y) and (z) are each O or 1 which represents existence or absence of each of R1-R4 units; (n) is a polymerization degree] and (B) a binder prepared by polymerizing a radically polymerizable monomer selected from ethylene, styrene, vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride, acrylonitrile, vinyl acetate, vinyl methacrylate and methyl acrylate. Furthermore, when the polymerization is carried out, the polymerization is preferably completed, e. g. in an organic solvent at 40-110°C reaction temperature for 1-5 hr.
