PURPOSE: To provide the titled adhesive useful for adhesion between a special coating treated aluminium plate and a PVC sheet or film, which comprises a specific modified reaction product and a polyisocyanate compound.
CONSTITUTION: A saturated polyester resin having a terminal OH group, prepared by a condensation reaction of a polybasic acid with a divalent alcohol, is reacted with a diisocyanate compound in such an amount that the active hydrogen group is substantially equivalent to the isocyanate group to obtain a thermoplastic polyester urethane rubber which is an elastomer having a urethane bond in its molecule. 100pts.wt. thermoplastic polyester urethane rubber is reacted for grafting with 1W50pts.wt. radical reactive alkoxysilyl compound of the formulae IWIV in the presence of a polymerization initiator to obtain a modified reaction product. 100pts.wt. (on a solid basis) modified reaction product is incorporated with 2W100pts.wt. polyisocyanate compound (e.g.: triphenylmethanetriisocyanate) as a crosslinking agent and optionally the above- mentioned thermoplastic polyurethane rubber in an unmodified form.
