Title:
POLYURETHANE-BASED CEMENT COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR COSTRUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005047719
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve the problem that a phenomenon of upward warpage or generation of cracks in the surface layer is potentially included in a conventional polymer-cement composition because the shrinkage factor of a layer comprising only a resin component of the surface is different from that of the center part containing aggregate although it is considered that a smooth finished surface can be obtained because a resin component slightly floats toward the surface during hardening after being applied when the conventional polymer cement composition is applied in a thickness of 3-10 mm according to a regular manner.

The resin-cement composition is obtained by blending a polyester polyol, an isocyanate compound and aggregate containing hydraulic cement. The polymer-cement composition retains thermal resistance and physical properties without impairing coating workability and surface appearance, and can suppress upward warpage or the generation of cracks in the surface layer when it hardens and shrinks even when the composition is applied in a thickness of ≤ 5mm.
