Abstract:

To provide a polyurethane having small coefficient of dynamic friction at 1,000-6,000 mm/min rate and small variation of coefficient of dynamic friction by friction speed, by which it can be expected to make coefficient of dynamic friction low in the sliding speed range in an electrophotographic apparatus and provide a blade for the electrophotographic apparatus.

This polyurethane is obtained by reacting a polyol with an isocyanate and curing the resultant product. In the polyurethane, two or more kinds of perfluoropolyether compounds having active hydrogen-containing groups are introduced at both terminals of the molecule and the coefficient (measured by Heidon type tester) of dynamic friction to glass at 1,000-6,000 mm/min friction rate is 0.45-0.62 and the variation of the coefficient at 1,000-6,000 mm/min friction rate is ≤0.10.
