Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyurethane elastomer having excellent mechanical physical properties and also having excellent discoloration resistance in an NOenvironment.SOLUTION: In the polyurethane elastomer obtained by the reaction between an isocyanate group terminal prepolymer obtained by the reaction between 1, 4-bis(isocyanatomethyl)cyclohexane and high molecular weight polyol with a chain extender having an active hydrogen group, the equivalent ratio of the isocyanate group in the isocyanate group terminal prepolymer to the active hydrogen group in the chain extender (NCO/active hydrogen group) is controlled to above 1.10 to below 1.30.
