Abstract:
To provide a polyvinyl acetate emulsion which can be used singly or as a mixture with a usual crosslinking agent to enhance water resistance.
The polyvinyl acetate emulsion does not contain formalin and has excellent water resistance. A plywood made by using the emulsion to stick a wooden material meets the standard requirements for the second kind of plywood described in CNS 1249.
