This polyvinyl acetate resin-based emulsion adhesive composition is a polyvinyl acetate resin-based emulsion prepared by carrying out the emulsion (co)polymerization of vinyl acetate monomer alone or a monomer composition comprising the vinyl acetate monomer and a monomer copolymerizable with the vinyl acetate monomer with a water-soluble starch as a protective colloid and comprises an ethylene-vinyl acetate-based copolymer emulsion in an amount of 10-300wt.% based on the total amount of the monomers.
