Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide titled resin compsn. which can be crosslinked in a short time without accompanying coloration and excels in storage stability and workability, by a method wherein a specified organotin cpd. is blended with a polyvinyl chloride paste.
CONSTITUTION: About 30W150pts.wt. of a plasticizer (e.g. dioctyl phthalate) is blended with 100pts.wt. of a vinyl chloride (co)polymer to obtain a polyvinyl chloride paste. An organotin cpd. of formula I [wherein R1 is butyl, octyl; R2 is (cyclo)alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, a radical of formula II or III (wherein R' is H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, aryl, aralkyl); n is 0, 1, 2] is blended with the polyvinyl chloride paste in an amount of 0.5W5pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the polyvinyl chloride.
