Abstract:
To provide a polyvinylchloride-based carbon fiber reinforced composite material excellent in flame resistance, durability, oil and chemical resistance, and mechanical characteristics such as bending strength and creep properties.SOLUTION: A carbon fiber reinforced composite material includes at least a vinyl chloride-based resin composition (A) containing acid-modified polyvinylchloride (a) and a carbon fiber substrate (B). In an infrared absorption spectrum of the acid-modified polyvinylchloride (a), an acid modification ratio R represented by the below expression: R=IM/I0×M/100 is 0.2-2.0, where I0 indicates a peak (C-Cl expansion, 610 cm-1) strength derived from polyvinylchloride, IM indicates a peak (C=O expansion, 1,730 cm-1) strength derived from acid modification and M (mass%) indicates a mass ratio of the acid-modified polyvinylchloride (a) to a resin component in the vinyl chloride-based resin composition (A).SELECTED DRAWING: None
