Title:
PORCELAIN ENAMELED STEEL SHEET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3395826
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve adhesion of porcelain enamel by forming an Al-Zn alloy plating layer on the surface of a steel sheet, providing a porcelain enamel coating layer as an outermost layer, and further providing an interposition layer between the plating layer and the porcelain enamel coating layer.
SOLUTION: As an interposition layer between an Al-Zn alloy plating layer and a porcelain enamel layer, a layer of films of one or more kinds selected from Ni, Co, Mo, Mn, Ni-P, Ni-Co-P, and Co-P is formed. These kinds have a function of inhibiting and controlling a reaction between the plating layer and the porcelain enamel. The use of Ni and Ni-P is particularly preferred from the viewpoint of adhesion and equipment cost. These films can be formed by using an electroplating method, an electroless plating method, a substitutional deposition method, etc., or can be formed by applying aqueous solutions containing ions of the above metals and drying them. It is preferable to regulate the amount of formation to (10 to 1000) mg/m2.
