Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous aluminum heat exchange member high in the holding power of a heat transfer medium, excellent in thermal conductivity and capable of being manufactured at a low cost.SOLUTION: A porous aluminum heat exchange member contains a sintered porous aluminum body of a plurality of aluminum base materials and an aluminum bulk body made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy or a bulk body. The porous aluminum heat exchange member is characterized in that the outer surface of said aluminum base material is formed with a plurality of columnar protrusions protruding outward; and in that the pores of said porous aluminum body form the passage of a heat transfer medium.
