To provide a method for easily fixing an arbitrary kind of a porous body to the surface of a member while minimizing the closure of pores.
The method for fixing the porous body to the surface of the member includes a process (1) for providing an uncured layer of an energy beam crosslinking polymerizable composition to the surface of the member and irradiating a part or the whole of the uncured layer with an energy beam to form the semicured part of the energy beam crosslinking polymerizable composition not having fluidizing properties but having pressure-sensitive adhesive properties, a process (2) of bringing the porous body into contact with the semicured part of the member and preparatorily fixing the porous body by the pressure-sensitive adhesive strength of the semicured part, and a process (3) of advancing the curing of the energy beam crosslinking polymerizable composition of the semicured part by irradiation with the energy beam to fix the porous body to the member.
