Abstract:
To provide a porous body capable of being precisely controlled in its pore size, reduced in pressure loss and heat treatment is not necessarily indispensable.
The porous body has a large number of pores 17 and contains a metal. A large number of the pores 17 are formed so as to extend in the almost same direction. The metal contains a large number of crystals 111. The respective crystals 111 extend almost in parallel to the extending direction of the pores 17. The pore size of the pores is not less than 0.01 μm and, when the length of the pores is set to 0.1 mm, the diameters at the respective parts of one pore are irregular within a range of ±1% or less of the pore size.
