Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a porous carbide containing a fertilizer in a high concentration by decomposing and carbonizing a livestock waste consisting essentially of livestock dung or a mixture of dung and bedding.
CONSTITUTION: A livestock waste consisting essentially of livestock dung or a mixture of the livestock dung and bedding is decomposed and carbonized at ≥150°C to provide the objective porous carbide forming a number of pores on the surface or the interior and containing a fertilizer content in the following composition: 1-8wt.% nitrogen (N) content, 2-20wt.% phosphorus (P2O5), 2-15wt.% potassium (K2O) content, 0.5-5wt.% magnesium content and 3-30wt.% calcium (CaO) content.
