PURPOSE: To obtain a porous film electrode having good electrical efficiency and steady charge-discharge performance by filling fine conductive particles in pores of a porous synthetic resin film having random three dimensional net structure.
CONSTITUTION: Fine carbon powder having a particle size of 0.005∼100μm is filled in pores of a porous synthetic resin film made of olefin polymer, halogenated olefin polymer, or these copolymer in a range of 10∼80 wt% based on the pore-filled porous film. The obtained pore filled porous film electrode with three dimensional net structure has a mean pore size of 0.005∼100μm, a porosity of 5∼80%, and a thickness of 10∼5000μm. In the porous film electrode, the fine conductive particles 1 are microscopically separated from the synthetic resin 2, and even if workability such as bending and cutting is improved by increasing the amount of the synthetic resin 2, a remarkable increase in electric resistance can be prevented and a drop in performance of fine conductive particles 1 is decreased.
