To provide high quality porous hollow particles by an improved novel method.
After pressurized gas being dissolved into the first continuous phase 11 of a primary emulsion 14, in which the first dispersed phase 13 is dispersed in the first continuous phase 11 containing a solidified component (A), the primary emulsion 14 is made the second dispersed phase 15, which is further dispersed into the second continuous phase 16 to make a secondary emulsion 17 (B). After hollow particles 18 being formed with the secondary emulsion kept at the atmospheric pressure (C), the solid component is solidified (D), and the first dispersed phase 13 part of the primary emulsion 14 is removed (E) so that holes 19 are made in the trace of the removed first dispersed phase 13 part to produce porous hollow particles 20.
