Abstract:
To provide a selective porous inorganic membrane, having a permeability to a noncondensable molecule and capable of separating, with a high separating selectivity to the said molecule, the said molecule existing in a hydrocarbon mixture .
The porous inorganic membrane is composed of at least one inorganic phase having a separating performance, wherein this membrane has a carbon content of 0.05-25 wt% based on mass of the said inorganic phase. The said carbon is slopingly distributed in a pore.
